ITINERARY

Day 1, ARRIVAL AT MEXICO CITY

  • Arrival at International Airport in Mexico City.
  • Meet and Greeting.
  • Transfer In to Hotel in México City.
  • Accommodation in B & B on standard room at Hotel Fontán Reforma 4* o similar Hotel 4* with all taxes included.

We recommend going out for a walk on Reforma meet one of the main avenues in Mexico City; Reforma Avenue is breathtaking at night as it is lit up at night colors, full of important monuments, various options dining restaurants, cafes and a Shopping Center called Reforma 222, you can take a souvenir photo at the Angel of Independence one of the main monuments of the city, which is located one block from the Hotel.

Day 2, MEXICO CITY

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • 9:00 Departure of the Tour to the Historic Center of Mexico known as Zocalo or Plaza de la Constitution, there you´ll know the National Palace where you could see the Macro Mural painted by the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera in which different scenes of the story of Mexico are represented. Then you will visit the outside area of the ruins of Tenochtitlan the Aztec Empire´s Capital; later you will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest in Latin America and one of the most outstanding works of the Spanish American Art. It was built over three centuries and includes various styles of architecture in the Era of the Viceroyalty.
  • Continuation to the Panoramic Tour on Reforma Avenue, one of the largest and most beautiful avenues in the City where you will appreciate various monuments such as The Angel of Independence, The Diana, Torre Caballito, Statue of Charles V, Statue of Cuauhtémoc, you will also appreciate the majestic building the Main Tower, an admirable building, which is the tallest building in Mexico and one of the highest in Latin America. You will continue your tour on Chapultepec and Residential Lomas area, then in the afternoon you´ll drive to the Anthropology Museum one of the most important museum in Mexico and Latin America, where your guide will show and explain the Sala Mexica.
  • Return to Hotel.

Day 3, MEXICO CITY - BASILIC OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE - PYRAMIDS OF TEOTIHUACÁN

  • 8:00 Breakfast at hotel.
  • The tour starts visiting the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Queen of Mexico and Empress of America, know the ancient basilica, the hill of Tepeyac where the appearance and the miracle to Juan Diego, the garden of the offerings happened Chapel Indio the ancient Basilica and the current where you can admire closely the actual tilma of the Virgin of Guadalupe to all pilgrims ask miracles. The tour continues with a visit to the Plaza of the 3 Cultures, one of the most significant of the city of Mexico, as it reflected three important stages of the history of Mexico: Pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary.
  • Then we continue to the wonderful Teotihuacan Pyramids, expression of the Aztec Empire´s where you will climb the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon, know the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Jaguar building and the god road.

Day 4, MEXICO CITY - MERIDA

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Check out and Transfer to International Airport to take the flight suggested by Interjet 2520, departing at 11:30 arriving into Mérida at 13:10.
  • 13:40 Meet and Greeting at the Airport and transfer to Hotel.
  • 14:10 Check in at Hotel.
  • Time for lunch (optional).
  • 16:00 Panoramic tour of the city of Merida also known as the white city, starting with the Paseo de Montejo where you will know the Plaza Grande, Americas Park, the Hermitage Park and San Sebastian, the beautiful Cathedral of Merida, the Monument to the Revolution and the painted in pastel colors that together give a harmonious view of the city houses.
  • Back to Hotel.

Day 5, MERIDA

  • 8:00 Breakfast at hotel.
  • 9:00 Excursion to the national park of Celestún, on a boat you will go through the Lagoon and appreciate the Flamingos and other birds on the area.

  • Time to swim at the beach of Celestún in the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Back to the hotel.

Day 6, MERIDA - CANCUN

  • 8:00 Breakfast at hotel.
  • 9:00 Departure from the hotel lobby to Chichen Itza "Mouth of the well of the wizards of water" in the Mayan language, considered by UNESCO as a new world wonder, one of the most important places for the Maya, where he meets the Pyramid of Kukulcan one of the seven wonders of the modern world, ballgame history, the Mayan observatory.
  • Visit to the Cenote Ik Kil with free time to swim on its crystalline water.
  • Luncheon included with folkloric show (beverages not included).
  • Continuation of the Tour to Cancún.
  • Dinner at Hotel in Cancún.

Day 7, CANCUN - ISLA MUJERES (CATAMARAN)

  • 8:00 Breakfast at hotel.
  • 9:00 Transfer by your own to the dock to do Check In before the Catamaran departs.
  • 10:00 Departs sailing to Isla Mujeres and back, snorkeling in the El Farito marine park, visit Isla Mujeres center, buffet lunch at Albatros Beach Club.
    Includes: Free bar on board the boat, snorkel in the coral reef, visit center of the island and food.

Day 9, HAVANA

  • 8:00 Breakfast.
  • 9:00 Transfer from Hotel to the City tour of Havana.
  • 09:20 Starting the walking tour of Old Havana from the Templete, where Havana Villa was founded in 1519. Walking through the Plaza de Armas and all other Squares of Old Havana: San Francisco de Asís Square, then to Old Square, visit the Cathedral Square. Seeing the monuments, the Palacio del Segundo Cabo and the Cathedral.
  • 11:00 Entrance to the Rum Museum and know about the process of producing Rum from the Sugar Cane.
  • Visit the cigar factory in Havana.
  • 13:00 Optional lunch at bohemian restaurant La Mina at the Plaza de Armas Square (not included).
  • 14:00 Visit the Paseo del Prado Avenue, the Grand Theater of Havana, the Capitol Building, the Central Park.
  • 15:30 1 Hour Drive in Old American Vintage Car through Old and Modern Havana.
  • 16:30 Drop Off at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba with its more than 85 years of existence, visit the Hall of Fame and get a Welcoming Mojito, visit the gardens of the Hotel.
  • Continuation the tour through the Vedado area, visiting the University, 23 Street, the Seaboard / Promenade.
  • 19:00 Back to the Hotel.

  • Dinner at Family Restaurant El Cocinero and after dinner visit nearby FAC (Fabric of Cuban Arts) to meet people, enjoy the arts exhibitions.

Day 10, HAVANA - VIÑALES VALLEY

  • 7:00 Early breakfast.
  • 7:45 Departing for Viñales Valley (190km). One of the most beautiful areas of Cuba with their rare hill name Mogotes, fertile land where best havano tobacco leaf is grown. Place of wonderful caverns, little country routes and amazing landscapes.
  • 10:00 Walking tour through the Valley visiting tobacco farms, meeting guajiros working with the oxen the land on a traditions and sustainable way.
  • Luncheon at Finca Paraiso (very interesting agro ecological project with the best views of the Valley; family private owned restaurant).
  • Entrance to the Indian caves with a boat ride inside the cave.
  • Visit Los Jazmines viewpoint from where you will have an excellent view over the Valley.
  • Visit the town where you can see how it has developed due the tourism in the area for years.
  • Check in at private Guesthouse, accommodation with breakfast.

Day 11, VIÑALES VALLEY - CIENFUEGOS

  • 7:30 Breakfast.
  • 8:15 Check Out and departure to Cienfuegos City. French founded city with an important port town founded by French settlers from Louisiana in 1819. This history gives it an air and architectural style that is distinct from that of the rest of the island. This city appeal lies partly in the European flavor of its colonial hub, with a wide Parisian - style boulevard and elegant colonnades, and there is an ambience to inspire Cuba’s most celebrated Son singer to write the words “Cienfuegos is the city I like best”. Visit the Martí Park, the Terry Theater, the Alameda (Central Park), the Seaboard (one of the prettiest Bay in Cuba), visit the Palacio del Valle.

Day 12, CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD

  • Check out and finishing the tour of the City Cienfuegos walking through the Alameda Central and Marti park, the historical center of the City.
  • 10:30 Departing for Trinidad.
  • 12:00 Arriving to Trinidad, Check In at the Private Guesthouse where you will stay for the next 2 days.

  • 15:30 Walking tour of Trinidad City, the quintessential of Cuba Colonial City, best preserved historical Center in all the America´s, established by the Spaniards in 1514 and lined with cobblestone streets and colorful houses, the town of Trinidad is easy to wander around and almost every scene offers superb photographic opportunities from locals casually smoking their huge cigars on the doorsteps of their homes to old Chevrolets cruising by. Visit Santa Ana and the Major Square, where the Cathedral is located and the Romantic Museum and other main and oldest building of Trinidad.
  • Entrance to the Canchanchara Bar to try the cocktail Canchanchara based on Aguardiente, limon juice and honey.
  • Free evening, it is recommended to enjoy the cultural life and night life in Trinidad, of a particular interest is some galleries of arts in the Historical Center of Trinidad as well as Casa de la Trova.

Day 13, TRINIDAD - SANTA CLARA - HAVANA
