A program of 10 nights and 11 days, 6 nights in Cancun and 4 nights in Panama City.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 / CANCUN

  • Arrive at Cancun International Airport.
  • Meet & greet at the airport, transfer to hotel in Cancun.
  • Overnight at Oasis Smart 4 **** hotel in ALL INCLUSIVE plan, with local and hotel taxes included.
  • Free day.

DAY 2 / CANCUN - CHICHEN ITZA - CENOTE IKIL - CANCUN

  • 7:30: Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 8:00: Sunrise tour to the archaeological site of Chichen Itza in private.
  • 11:00: Arrive at the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, sacred city of the Maya, which means (Chichen) Mouth of the well; of (Itza) witches of water, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • To visit and admire the Pyramid of Kukulcan, recognized as one of the new seven wonders of the modern world.
  • 13:00: Lunch at local restaurant with cultural show (price not included); Oxtun, Hacienda Chichen Resort, Chilam Balam Hotel and restaurant Oakan among others are suggested.
  • 14:00: Departure to the Cenote IK-KIL, about 3 kms from Chichen Itza.
  • Visit to Cenote IK-KIL, this cenote is open sky, with the water level to 26 meters below the ground surface and surrounded by greenery. To get there, go down a staircase made of stone with small balconies where you can admire its beauty from different points. Arriving there is a platform that provides access to its fresh and clear waters, where you can see small catfish that inhabit it. The Cenote Ik Kil was a sacred place for the Mayans, who used to rest and to provide ritual services.
  • 16:30: Return to hotel.
  • 19:30: Arrival at the hotel.

DAY 3 / CANCUN

  • Free day to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Cancun, offers a variety of excursions and activities (price not included); suggestions: Xcaret Plus Tour, Swimming with Dolphins, Catamaran Tour to Isla Mujeres, Xplor Theme park or Tour to Playa del Carmen or Cozumel.

DAY 4 / CANCUN

  • 8:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 9:00: Departure to the Mayan ruins of Tulum. Tulum is located about 130 kms from Cancun (journey time approximately 1:45 pm), and its main attraction is the combination of the imposing ruins with amazing blue shades - turquoise Caribbean Sea, is one of the most beautiful beaches the Riviera Maya. Maya Tulum means "wall" as it is a walled city, one of the few ancient cities with this feature. You can tour the archaeological site and then take a dip in its waters.
  • Lunch at restaurant in the area (price not included).
  • 4:00: Return to Cancun.

DAY 5 / CANCUN

DAY 6 / CANCUN - PANAMA

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check Out at the hotel.
  • Transfer to the Cancun International Airport, to take flight to Panama City.
  • Arrival in Panama City, meet & greet at the airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel in the downtown area of the city.
  • Overnight at Boutique Hotel Saba 4 **** or similar Plan B & B (breakfast buffet) with all local and hotel taxes included.
  • In the evening you will meet your local guide for a meeting prior to the tour. Please check the notice board at the reception to confirm the time and place of their meeting.
  • The briefing is followed by a traditional dinner and show at the Don Tinajas Restaurant (dinner included).

DAY 7 / PANAMA CITY - KUNA YALA - SAN BLAS ISLANDS - PANAMA CITY

  • 7:30: Departure to the port to take boat at 8:30 bound for the island of Nalu Nega. This tour gives you the opportunity to mingle with the Kuna in the islands covered by coconut trees, enjoy the beaches, learn about the Kuna culture in some of the most remote areas of the islands of San Blas.
  • Breakfast and visit the village and museum about Nalu Nega. Kuna or Dules (Tules), lie within several counties: Kuna Yala, is the area occupied by the San Blas Islands in Panama's Caribbean. His language is Kuna or Dule Gaya. The Kunas are considered the best organized indigenous group in Latin America; family structure is extremely complex. Unlike other groups, women have an outstanding role and strengthen family life around it.
  • Departure to the Island But (Shipwreck Island) where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a lunch of barbecued fish, or vegetables cheeseburgers and fries (lunch included).
  • 15:30 Departure to the port of Carti Barsukun.
  • 16:30: Departure from the port to reach approximately Panama City at 19:00, where it will be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 8 / PANAMA CITY – PANAMA HALF DAY TRANSIT CANAL TOUR - PANAMA CITY

  • 6:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 7:00: Transfer by bus to the Flamenco Marina, strategically located at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. (Note: This tour takes place on Saturdays only).
  • Enjoy a journey of one day Panama Canal from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic. This tour gives you the opportunity to go through the three sets of locks available to the Panama Canal, plus the Miraflores and Gatun lakes. You will also go through the Gaillard Cut, where dynamite, steam shovel, and the hand of man, dug the channel through the Continental Divide. Throughout the Canal transit, you will have the opportunity to observe its operations in a way that can not be appreciated from a cruise ship or larger. Tugs attending maneuvers, locomotives, operation with cables and sailors make their teamwork, enabling quick navigation through the Canal. (Lunch included in the boat).
  • Upon reaching Columbus, he is landed in the Colon 2000 Cruise Port, where transportation will be provided back to Panama City.

DAY 9 / PANAMA CITY - VALLE DE ANTON - PANAMA CITY

  • 7:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 8:00: Departure by car to the Anton Valley, just two hours from Panama City. This greened people have the second largest crater in the world, with a diameter of 5kms wide, which erupted three million years ago. It is a quiet town surrounded by beautiful scenery, fertile mountains and beautiful flowers. Located 600 meters above sea level, it enjoys a cool climate and is known as the land of eternal spring. El Valle is one of the best birding areas of Panama.
  • The local market (open only on Sundays), where you can find precious pieces of craftsmanship hand carved in ivory palm and wood, Panama hats, very colorful baskets made by the Wounaan women and beautiful molas made by the Kuna women were visiting.
  • Other attractions of the destination are watching the golden frogs, square trees, the El Chorro Macho waterfall and Las Mozas, hot springs, where a stop will be made to take a dip in the thermal pools of water from springs can also enjoy a therapeutic volcanic mud bath.
  • You can also do the Zip Line Canopy Adventure tour.
  • The hieroglyphs of La Pintada, located just minutes from the town of Valle are visited, these hieroglyphics show a variety of anthropomorphic figures, which have not yet been deciphered by archaeologists.
  • 16:00: Return to your hotel in Panama City.

DAY 10 / PANAMA CITY TOUR: BIODIVERSITY MUSEUM - "CASCO VIEJO"

  • 9:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
  • 10:00: Departure to Biomuseo (also known as The Biodiversity Museum: Panama Bridge of Life), located on the Amador Causeway in Panama City. The building was designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, the Biomuseo is his only work in Latin America and the tropics; eight galleries tell us about the origin of the Panamanian isthmus and its gigantic impact on the planet’s biodiversity. The Biodiversity Park will be a living extension of the museum’s architecture, exhibits, and programs.
  • 14:00: Gourmet Tour by the "Casco Viejo", the oldest of the city historic area. During the tour if you wish you can taste a cup of the finest and most expensive coffee in the world, Geisha coffee; experience the intense flavors of organic chocolate Panama, produced by indigenous Ngobe, there will be a sample of local microbrew, brought directly from the micro brewery where it is produced. If you want you can taste the national dish, the Panamanian ceviche in the local fish market and accompany the sunset with a cocktail of exquisite rum.

DAY 11 / PANAMA CITY – DEPARTURE
