4 DAY ITINERARY "OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE PILGRIMAGE TOUR"

Day 1, ARRIVAL IN MEXICO CITY - BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE

  • Upon your arrival in Mexico City, you will be welcomed by our knowledgeable tour guides who will accompany you throughout this spiritual journey. After settling into your hotel, we will begin our pilgrimage at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a place of unparalleled significance in Mexican Catholicism. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire the awe-inspiring Basilica complex, including the Old Basilica (built in the 18th century) and the modern Basilica, home to the miraculous image of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Spend the day in prayer and reflection as you explore the sacred grounds and witness the faith of countless pilgrims who come here seeking solace and miracles. In the evening, we'll gather for a welcome dinner where you can connect with fellow pilgrims and share your initial experiences.

Day 2, THE BASILICA OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE - CATHEDRAL OF MEXICO

  • Our second day begins with a morning Mass at the Basilica, allowing you to deepen your spiritual connection to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Following Mass, we will explore the fascinating history and significance of this holy site through guided tours of the Basilica complex. In the afternoon, we will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, one of the oldest and most majestic cathedrals in the Americas. This architectural marvel reflects the convergence of indigenous and Spanish cultures and is a testament to Mexico's rich religious history.
  • Our day concludes with a visit to the Templo Mayor, an archaeological site showcasing the ancient Aztec temple dedicated to Huitzilopochtli, providing insight into the spiritual landscape before the arrival of Christianity, follow with a tour of the Historic center of Mexico City, world heritage city where you will discover most iconic buildings, monuments, statues of the Mexico´s capital.

Day 3, TEOTIHUACAN - SHRINE OF THE THREE KINGS

  • On our third day, we will venture beyond Mexico City to explore the ancient city of Teotihuacan, known as the "City of the Gods". This archaeological wonder is home to the magnificent Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon, both of which hold spiritual significance. As you ascend these pyramids, take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and reflect on the enduring spirituality of the region's indigenous peoples.
  • In the afternoon, we will visit the Shrine of the Three Kings, which houses relics of the Magi who visited the infant Jesus. This shrine is located within the beautiful Zocalo Square in downtown Mexico City, surrounded by historical buildings and a vibrant atmosphere. Here, you can participate in Mass and contemplate the journey of the Wise Men as part of your pilgrimage experience.
  • Return to the hotel in the city.
  • Lodging at the same Hotel as the previous night.

Day 4, XOCHIMILCO - CONCLUSION OF PILGRIMAGE

  • On our final day, we will embark on a serene and reflective journey to Xochimilco, known for its picturesque canals and floating gardens. In this tranquil setting, we will gather for a closing Mass and moments of prayer and reflection. Xochimilco's serene atmosphere provides an ideal backdrop for contemplation and gratitude for the spiritual journey you've undertaken.
  • Following our time in Xochimilco, we will return to Mexico City, where you will have the afternoon for personal reflection, exploration, or last-minute souvenir shopping. In the evening, we will come together for a farewell dinner, where you can share your final thoughts and experiences with your fellow pilgrims. This evening marks the conclusion of our four-day pilgrimage, but the spiritual insights and memories you've gained will stay with you long after you leave this sacred land.
