ITINERARY
Day 1, MEXICO CITY - TUXTLA GUTIÉRREZ - CAÑON DEL SUMIDERO - CHIAPA DE CORZO TOUR
- Arrival at Tuxtla Gutiérrrez Airport, we suggest by Interjet 2609 departing from Benito Juarez International Airport at 7:00 am arriving into Tuxtla at 8:25 am (not included on the price).
- 8:45 Welcome at Airport and transfer to Sumidero Canyon for the tour, your luggage can be kept safety on transportation during the tour until your drop off at hotel.
- 9:00 Start the adventure where the driver will get you to the jetty to navigate the majestic Sumidero Canyon. Once in the boat, you will enjoy a stroll along the Grijalva River as you marvel at the beauty of this geological formation of millions of years. You will also admire the cliffs of over 1,000 meters high, waterfalls, peculiar rock formations, caves, in addition to the local flora and fauna.
- Later, you will continue the adventure in a picturesque magic town, Chiapa de Corzo. Here you will visit its famous 16th-century colonial fountain in America, the former convent of Santo Domingo and the portals with colorful handcrafts on sale.
Afterwards, you will enjoy the Sumidero Canyon National Park, where its viewpoints "La Ceiba", "La Coyota", "El Roblar" and "El Tepehuaje" approach you to the top of the majestic canyon until you reach the highest part of the mountain reaching the last lookout point, "Los Chiapa" where you can admire the Grijalva River from a height of 1,000 meters. - Time for luncheon (not included).
- Continue to San Cristobal de las Casas for accommodation.

Day 2, INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES (SAN JUAN CHAMULA & ZINACANTAN)
- 8:00 Breakfast at Hotel.
- 9:00 Departure to visit to the community of Zinacantan where you will visit the church dedicated to San Lorenzo, also you will know a house and handicraft workshop (Tzotzil Maya). Later we continue to San Juan Chamula another Tzotzil community that retains its customs and ancestral rites and that coupled with the candlelight and the fragrance of the frankincense wrap us in its magic.

- Transfer back to hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Day 3: LAGOS DE MONTEBELLO & CASCADAS EL CHIFLON
- 8:00 Breakfast.
- 9:00 Transfer to the Lakes of Montebello that owe their fame to the different tonalities of its waters that go from the pale blue passing through the violet, the emerald and the turquoise, these tonalities are produced by the soil, the vegetation and the refraction of the light.
- Visit to the Chiflón Waterfalls, a chain of waterfalls formed by the riverbed of the San Vicente River, which precipitates in several falls, the largest being 70 meters high. The natural pools that form are of intense turquoise blue waters; joined to these waterfalls.
- Transfer back to the hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas.

Day 4: AGUA AZUL & MISOL HA WATERFALLS – PALENQUE TOUR
- 6:00. Box lunch (request at the hotel reception one day before).
- Transfer to the impressive waterfalls of AGUA AZUL, a protected reserve whose main attraction are the waterfalls that are formed by the convergence of 3 rivers, forming canyons and cliffs giving rise to the blue and white waterfalls, color that is due to the live rock carsica It dissolves by the passage of water.
- Later we visit the waterfall of Misol Ha, waterfall of approximately 30 meters high, which, when falling, forms a large pool in which it is possible to practice swimming with caution. This refreshing and beautiful landscape is found in a typical example of the high tropical jungle of the Chiapanecan highlands, and in the middle of a rich vegetation composed by tall specimens of mahogany, chicozapotes and water sticks.
- Transfer to the Archaeological Zone of Palenque, a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO, where the temples of this important Mayan city are visited.

- 17:30 Back to Hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Day 5, TUXTLA GUTIÉRREZ DEPARTURE
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Check out of the hotel.
- Transfer from the hotel to the airport to take the flight back to Mexico City to connect flight to final destiny.
